The Bride & Groom

Katie and Dan first met working together in Boston at Pricewaterhouse Cooper. The pair dated for about two and half years before Dan proposed down by the waterfront.

Why Boston?

“We knew we wanted to get married in Boston since that was where a lot of our family and friends were and then for my family flying in we wanted to be close to downtown. I had stayed at the Lenox before with my family and loved it so it was the first place I thought of when we started looking at wedding venues.”

The Big Day – June 11, 2016

120 of Katie and Dan’s friends and family gathered under the gilded Dome to celebrate their nuptials. Escorted by her Dad, Katie walked down the aisle to the music of Larry Chaplin’s String Trio. The party continued across the hall from the Dome Room with passed hors d’oeuvres, an Artisan Cheese Display and live music provided by pianist Curtis Jones (this feature is included in the Lenox Wedding Package). Doors to the Dome Room opened back up at 7:00pm welcoming guests to a champagne toast and three course dinner set under the warm lights of the gilded Dome. Following dinner, guests danced and congaed the night away.

Memorable Moments

“Probably my favorite time on the big day was when we went up to the roof, just us and the photographer. We were having so much fun dancing with everyone and running around downstairs during the reception but to be able to go up to the quiet and dark of the roof (and the cool air!) during the middle of it all and be alone was very special. It was an amazing view and a great photo spot.”
