Danni and Dereck got married at The Lenox on Saturday, February 3, 2018 on a cold, but sunny day. Now that Danni has had some time to reflect on the big day, she shared all the most memorable moments with us!
My husband and I went to college together in Vermont. He always liked me, bu we never were in the right place or the right time to date. Fast forward 5 years, and he reached out on Facebook when we were both single. Since then we’ve pretty much been inseparable.
From the moment I stepped into the Dome Room, I knew I wanted my wedding venue to be at The Lenox. I had always liked City Table and City Bar, but the Dome Room sold it. My husband wasn’t swayed as quickly as I was; he liked the Taj. But after our wedding, he said it was the best decision we ever made. We hope to go back every year on our anniversary. The staff at The Lenox are truly impeccable and you can’t beat the location if you are looking for a city wedding.
There were so many! It started when we arrived at The Lenox. Alison and the rest of The Lenox staff made you feel so special. They greeted us with some really thoughtful treats – that was such an amazing touch. They also made sure everything was coordinated, so we didn’t have to worry about anything. Even during some stressful moments during the wedding, Alison noticed, and made sure everything was okay. We couldn’t be more grateful. Our favorite moment by far was having the most important people in our lives all in one place to celebrate.
Enjoy it. Our wedding was everything we’d hoped. Filled with family, friends, love, support, and so much fun; but it went by in the blink of an eye. Savor every minute because it’s over in an instant. Also eat the food! We were so busy socializing, we didn’t even get to eat the delicious food The Lenox prepared. Our family and friends raved about how it was the best steak they’ve ever eaten. Don’t let it go to waste – or at least get it to go!
