Local Brews & Bites:
Night Shift Brewing

Local Brews & Bites:
Night Shift Brewing

Over the course of the summer, City Table has been offering a Local Brews & Bites promotion, which features a different local beer each week, paired with a special appetizer created by Chef Sean. We have loved being able to partner with various local breweries, including Lord Hobo and Cambridge Brewing Company, and this month we are partnering with Night Shift Brewing!

Night Shift Brewing is located in Everett, Massachusetts, just about 6 miles from The Lenox. A couple members of our staff actually spent a whole day out in Everett exploring different stores and breweries. Their tasting room is always a fun spot to hang out, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and food trucks almost every day of the week. They also have a “Bring Your Own Food Policy”, so you can enjoy all your own favorite snacks while figuring out which beer is your favorite.

At City Table, the beer and appetizer pairings for the month of August are as follows:

My personal favorite beer is the “Santilli”. It is a smooth-sipping IPA with a massive hop profile. It’s also crisp, tropical, and delicious…at least I think so! Not to mention, this beer was a Bronze Medal Winner in the 2016 World Beer Cup American IPA category.

Like most breweries, Night Shift offers tours, but unlike most breweries, they offer free tours and just ask in return that a donation be made to the Greater Boston Food Bank. This is the perfect way to get a behind-the-scenes look at a popular local brewery, and support a great cause at the same time. Tours are offered Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon, but weekday tours can be arranged on their website if you’re unable to make the weekend hours.

Come join us at City Table this month for some refreshing Night Shift beer and delicious appetizers. We can’t wait to see you!
