Just over fifteen years ago, on May 17, 2004, same-sex couples along with friends, family and supporters in Massachusetts gathered at city halls all over the state to celebrate! The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court ruling came about six months earlier which ruled that the Massachusetts Constitution guarantees the right of civil marriage to same-sex couples. Massachusetts was the first state to achieve marriage equality!
To celebrate 15 years of marriage equality here in the Bay State, The Lenox Hotel is running a special promotion over Pride Month we are calling, Love Wins at The Lenox! The premise is simple, any couple who books their wedding over the month of June (for any future date), we will donate $1,000 to BAGLY on their behalf! BAGLY is the Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Youth and is a youth-led, adult supported social support organization!
